Shows the results are difficult. And as Tom said, with a
cast this good, every week it will hurt when a star is ceremonially launched on
the orbit of the Mirror Ball. Its hard to say goodbye when all the world raises
their game and its even harder when you saw this star to put on a stick of Big
satin shirt, shed tears for his newly discovered daughter, and rehearse
diligently behind the scenes just before his execution, as of this week kicked
candidate Jack Wagner did.
If Len had his way, all producers would have given a pass
and no one should go home this week. But Tom quickly rejected that request. And
it was the television actor and pop star who has improved with each performance
with the beautiful Anna Trebunskaya, while remaining at the lower end of this
curve ballroom, which has used this week . Maybe its competitive position
suffered because he was not quite the wow factor to win him votes. But Wagner
received his papers off of Mirrorball Manor graciously, saying he had a good
time and "it was fun to test" itself. At least he got to share the
story of his daughter and devote his dance to it.
And for the second straight week, the other couple in the
bottom two were Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff. Keep it up, and
singer-songwriter will be a cornerstone in the new "dance duel"
segment, where the last two couples dance one last time for the judges.
The full entertainment show began with a performance by
Seal, who sang a version of the comparison of Bill Withers Lean on Me, which
began and ended with a cappella gospel choir and accompaniment to the dance of
the Society of Emma members, Oksana, Kiki and Henry.
The tears did not stop on Monday night. Continuing the theme
of heart, the performance of AT & T Spotlight focused on Ivleva Julia, a
ballroom dancer and friend of the husband and wife team and "DWTS"
pros Jonathan Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya, who was diagnosed with stage 4
cancer. Julia, who was too frail to dance, seen from the sidelines as Anna and
Jonathan choreographed and danced a waltz in his honor. "We are inspired
by the example of Julia's life ... life and survive," said Anna. "We
just want to share this example with the world." And it was a very nice
tribute, sincere and emotional, and a beautiful tribute to his friend and fellow
dancer.
The Macy's Stars of Dance Performance was a high octane
performance choreographed by Misha Gabriel and Nick Bass with cool cats,
including "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Travis Wall and Twitch
and "Footloose" by Kenny Wormald stars costumes dance as the gentle
melodies criminal trio's raucous horns and band Grooveline Harold Wheeler.
"DWTS" and Gavin DeGraw Rascal Flatts friend
returned to the ballroom, this time to slow things down a little and sing
"changed", while Tony Dovolani and member of the Sharna Company were
wrapped around each other and made a lots of lifts, including a dance of
"Dirty"-style triumph in the end.
What did you think, fans of ballroom? Caught in which it was
removed this week? Are you "pleased to pieces" of Rock Week on
Monday? What about the dance duel? Gavin is best seen with a hat or porkpie
fez? As Maria Menounos, Derek Hough said after the performance on Monday night:
Can we get some beer and nachos now?
