"The Voice" season 2: The Blind Auditions Continue

So many questions about Monday night's episode of "The Voice", which debuted in the regular time slot of the show. Will it be a popular success, as was the Sunday after the Super Bowl? Will it provide enough lead in the NBC may finally have a hit with "Smash"? Why do wardrobe Cee Lo Green have both dazzled track suits?

The hearings have blind singers give their all - but it is also a platform for the judges to bicker and show. So to start, Cee Lo joined the other judges Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine for a medley of great songs by Prince:. "1999", "Little Red Corvette" and "Kiss" Cee Lo tracksuit blinds us all.

Ah yes, the candidates. The first is a duet, Hailey and Leland, who call themselves The Line. The duo made their debut at Leland struck on a bar in Hailey, but they went on to sing a few partners. They insist that their dynamics is either just friends, siblings, or an old married couple - take your pick. Hailey and Leland perform Tom Petty "American Girl" as a song optimistic, and Blake was immediately intrigued. Once the other judges to understand her duet, everyone turns around to check the happy couple.

"You guys love each other, right? You're a couple?" Cee Lo demand from the start. They both insist not - how long until that becomes a scenario this season? Christina rides for a while, and then manages a dig at Blake, reminding everyone that he sent his duet (Elenowen) last season remains. Name Blake grave of his wife, Miranda Lambert, and the judges make fun of him. Hailey and Leland hold a brief conference and choose ... Christina. She laughs in front of Blake, and Blake questions the judgment of the line.

It's about 18 minutes in the two-hour show, so it's time for a horribly tragic backstory. Jamar Rogers, 29, is a former homeless drug addict who Crystal meth is also HIV positive, and spends her days doing charity. Since any reality TV show would be quite insensitive to not let it pass, let's cut to the chase: Cee Lo revolves around Jamar sings his way through a decent version of "Seven Nation Army" by White Stripes.

Jamar springs from his love for Cee Lo (Gnarls Barkley, not just Cee Lo, Cee Lo but old school); Jamar officially joined the team Cee Lo, then runs to embrace his idol. Backstage, Cee Lo talks to the camera about how he is worth it to help young people realize their dreams. But it is hard to concentrate because Cee Lo is also nonchalantly holding a fluffy white cat in his arms while talking.

Neal Middleton, 33, is described as a rock n 'roll father. Neal knows he has not much to pursue her dreams of singing to support his family, and it should start things up a notch. Cut to pictures of adorable son Neal roll on the ground, as Neal began tearing at his on-camera interview. He pulled himself together to deliver a loud, growling-filled "I heard through the grapevine" by Marvin Gaye.

Things quickly get more depressing when none of the judges turn their chairs around. "It was great, I enjoyed every second of it," Adam said politely. Neal's wife is not having it. "Well, why do not you turn your chair around?" She asks, making a solid point. The judges are not just in Neal, and he leaves.

After a brief assembly of other singers who did not inspire judges to turn their chairs around robots (and everyone handles rejection with ease and grace - boring), we meet Gwen Sebastian, 37. She raves about how her boyfriend sacrificed so many things, including trying to start a family, that of Gwen can pursue his dream of becoming a musician. So no pressure for Gwen.

Gwen is sad country with Sugarland "Stay", a mistress pleaded with her lover not to return to his wife. Blake and Cee Lo are convinced, and turn around the same time. Adam also turns his chair. "You do that to get this under my skin," Blake accuses Adam and Cee Lo, which is probably true. Once the judges stop bickering, Blake plays the corner country, while Adam goes with " new perspective. "Cee Lo said he just turned around to let Gwen know she appreciates. With this in mind, Gwen chooses ... Blake!

Host Carson Daly reminds everyone that "The Voice" is not about age, through the introduction of a "much older" singer, Kim Yarbrough, 50. Kim has been singing since she was a teenager, but describes himself as a struggling artist, who took odd jobs, including working in a potato chip factory.

Before seeing the fate of Kim, we meet Pamela Rose, 28, who burst into tears when talking about how much she loves her family. Pamela goes with Kelly Clarkson tune "Already Gone", and the belts to the song, while his sobbing family behind the scenes. Judges Zero turn around. But they obviously regret it when the song ends, and see that she is a statuesque brunette, although she had problems with height. Cee Lo is always himself kicking long after she left.

Back to Kim Yarbrough 50 years, as it is now known. The judges were all dancing on their chairs for a refund of Kim Chaka Khan "Tell Me Something Good", and finally Adam is confident of turning around, soon joined by Christina. Adam and Christina lay on the charm, and Blake decides to help Kim: "Adam has won this thing last year ... Christina did not." I've said enough - Adam gets a teammate.

Sergeant Angie Johnson, 31, was in the Air Force band, and got a million views on YouTube when someone in the military posted a video of her singing. He drew attention to Carson Daly, who tweeted about it ... and now we are here. Angie is accompanied by Pat Benatar "Heartbreaker" and immediately captures the attention of Cee Lo, who turns around right away. No one else does, if they all look like they regret it when Angie strikes an impressive high note at the end. "I do not know if Cee Lo glad you're hot, or if you have a good voice," says Adam. However, Angie is on the team Cee Lo. Carson Daly is proud of his discovery.

Yale football player Dez Duron, 21, brags about his football stats, but took a semester off to audition for "The Voice". "You gave up ... and Yale football?" Carson Daly asked in disbelief. Anyway, Dez walks onstage and starts singing "I Want It That Way" by Backstreet Boys. With his band, boy watches, Dez could go far in this competition ... if one of the judges turn around, that is.

Unfortunately, Dez ignores one of the judges, but they all try to put pressure on Adam turning. And everybody is disappointed when the song ends and they see that Dez is attractive - especially Christina, who looks really devastated, and tries to turn around his chair again to resume. Somehow, we think Dez will be fine.

Lindsey Pavao, 22, struggled with nerves since a performance high school trauma, but anyway she walks and singing "Say Aah" by Trey Songz in a very distinct style of smoke. The judges murmur their approval, and Christina turns around, looking very pleased with herself. Although it has competition as soon Cee Lo and Blake join the party. Blake gives his best selling point, by comparing the voice of Lindsey Fiona Apple (who happens to be the inspiration of Lindsey). Christina (Christina) be interruptions and she points and Lindsey wear their hair the same way. Hearing all their praise, Lindsey hold for a while before it finally goes with Christina.

Jermaine Paul, 33, says he once serenaded Alicia Keys, who led her to a concert singer. However, Jermaine wants more - to be a solo artist Jermaine also has an adorable girl, who said it was his idea for Dad to try for the show.

Before Jermaine has his chance to shine, Hoja Lopez, 25, takes the stage to try to charm the judges with Katy Perry "Teenage Dream." It is ultimately an unsuccessful attempt, though, as none of the judges turn around. Blake believes that the song "good enough", and it was not what he wanted, even if it is a huge fan of Katy Perry. Who knew? The rest of the judges kindly blame his sub-par performance on the nerves, and outputs Hoja.

With that out of the way, Jermaine Paul tried his luck as a solo artist, with a groovy version of Avril Lavigne "Complicated". Cee Lo is intrigued enough to turn around. As the song became more furious, Blake decides he wants a shot as well. Cee Lo said the song sounded like booty (which apparently is a compliment). Jermaine starts grilling the judges as to whether they'll keep him around, and seems already quite high maintenance as he wonders why about Blake, he turned then towards the end of the song. Blake draws some retorts right of return, but it works - Jermaine Blake chooses the team.

For the singer last night, Angel Taylor, 23, is the youngest child of five girls. It tells the story of his abusive father, and how music was his escape. As soon as she starts singing Adele "Someone Like You", all judges are looking interested. Revolves around Adam, soon followed by Blake, who joined in the chorus arrives after Angel. Not one to be left out, Cee Lo turns around as well. Adam and Cee Lo sings its praises, but Angel Blake said at the outset that she has a crush on him. Blake is happy, but admits he is not sure what he can Angel do to if it is on his team. That being said, Angel goes with Adam wisely.
